I'm working on the 800 club!!!!
@LilyBee wrote:Finally checked my scores today and they are something shout about. Takes due dilligence. (sp?)
EQ - 850; EX - 850; TU - 850. FICO 8 is 850.
I couldn't copy that neat display page with the scores, so there it is. Been anticipating this since I found Myfico.

Congrats to you on your 850 scores!!! Woo hoo!!! Totally awesome!!! I want to be there one day. One day at a time.
Very well said. Understanding how to play the game has been incredible for me!! My scores are improving dramatically now that I understand how important utilization is. And I'm now paying off my balances every month, or taking a big bite out of them $250-$500 a pop!
Thank you, BBP. It's really great to see those numbers pasted on my wall.
Although it hasn't been a 'long hard slog' for me, I'm grateful for the words of wisdom from my mom (especially) and my dad who always advised me to pay my bills on time. That was before FICO scores; but the message was to be responsible in all financial matters. They taught me well.
Cheers.
Just got my updated scores and could not be happier!
EQ FICO: 821
TU FICO: 833
And my current credit history is still ONLY 6 years + .... Too bad that while I can "game the system" the only thing I can't fool is time....
I must admit that I have done a LOT of lurking on this forum over the past several months and have read a TON of good advice regarding scores, rebuilding, etc. I don't post much, but I read loads of threads regularly. Well, thanks to this board, when getting my wife's new vehicle last Friday, she and I have both jumped a ton! As of Friday, I was sitting with a TU score of 762 and she was sitting on an 815!! From January to May, I was sitting around the 700 mark and in May, my wife was hanging around 670. The major cause for her jump was that a collection fell off just a month or so ago. So thank you all for your sound advice and helping us achieve these numbers, unbeknownst to you all! Now, I'll be pushing to get myself to the 800 mark!!

CONGRATS!!!!! The 800's are hard as hell to get into but definetly something to be proud of! I know you worked hard to accomplish this. GOOD JOB!
My Scores are almost exactly what yours are as of this morning. 755 Eq. 775 Experian and 773 TU. That is with 18% utilization on purpose to pay it off incrementally until December when 2 inquires come off and all Credit cards will have zero balance except one I plan to leave 5 bucks on. I want to pay them off next month to see what it does but I am trying to step it down to 30% then less than 20% now less than 10% next month to report Sept 1. Then 5% and December will see 2 Hard inquiries come off leaving only 1 that is in December 1 year old. I think this will send me over 800. I am hoping for 805-810. God is it hard to get a CL increase or What. They are the sure fire way to watch your FICO go up and fast. These credit card companies are just hard to get a decent increase out of. Sure 1000 bucks but that will do little for your FICO. 3000 is like a magic number.
All this started 10 or so years ago when my FICO was 533 before that probably in the 400 range for 10 years. I would not even look. I had lost hope until I found this site and began to realize too you can correct your FICO scores.
