What's interesting is the names you see in this thread you don't see in the credit card forum. Is there any correlation?
Hey Edman: Just another observation.
There could be a correlation (or happenstance), but I'm only on this thread because I have at least one score above 760. I very seldom post on any other forum, mainly because I'm not interested in all the other categories. I'm on this category because I compete with myself and my own credit processing.
I would guess that behind the FICO scenes, someone is making graphs or correlations of some kind to respondents' postings. I wouldn't mind seeing those types of evaluations. Just saying.

Probably. Many threads open and then don't last long so notifications stop. I've been active in a few and subscribed to them but then stop getting notifications.
I'm not actively working on my score anymore and haven't had time lately to read the rest of the forums.
Since this thread is an open question it's been around a long time snd gets posted to regularly so I get notifiations. Then I check in on the posts and occassionally reply.
My guess would be that a number of the other posters here fit that profile.
All of mine are above 760 now. After doing a couple new apps last month and a couple CLI's they really haven't moved but a few points up. I think my TU is pushing 800. Anyway it is pretty awesome to not only see your scores improve but baddies fall off the CR's. I had a BK fall off in 07 and most of the negatives from ex wife fall off over last 4 years. I still have one late payment and only reporting on my EQ that was from 2011. So I'm very happy coming from a sub 600 points to almost 800 now. My goal is 825+ and will stay there!
Grats to everyone who has worked to get better CR's and scores!

I am just starting out on citi ,chase and cap 1. (Not amex)
I want to know which card can help me get my class up faster.

Someone can correct me please if I'm wrong but I think rule of thumb is now days to wait 6 months before a CLI request regardless of the cards you have. Some people request sooner and get those increases but if you want to just go by the standard wait 6 months imho.
But I found Cap1 and Chase to be the best for rebuilding and getting some increases. For me they are my oldest accounts and always treated me well. When I started out with them they seemed to be the easiest on getting the increases. For whatever reason CITI was a little more stubborn and I basically just took what I got lol. Tbh I haven't requested an increase with Chase in ages. I probably could get one but just did a PC with them from the Slate(very good card for transfer balances) to the Freedom Unlimited VS.

Thanks,
Slow but steady...seems to be the way of the high acheivers!
I am glad that I am in no hurry.
Just one more dose of patience !!
I have been between 825 and 837 for a year now and this morning checked my statement and finally hit 850.
Your FICO® Score as of April 23rd
850
On March 26th your score was 835

Fantastic!! You have mastered that illusive perfect score!!
Quick question if you don't mind my asking, how old is your oldest account? And what's your AAofA's? It's my understanding that these two factors have a big correlation with achieving a perfect score.
Congrats again!!
