Question about Utilization

Does keeping all but one of your cards at 0% utilization work to give you a boost over time?

I paid down all but 1 of my cards last month to 0 and saw an increase in my scores.

It it expected to see a boost each month if you leave it this way??

Re: Question about Utilization

Scores don't have a memory; they represent a snapshot in time.  While keeping utilization low as you have stated has long been advised, it's the actual aging of your accounts along with the payment history that will cause your score to improve over time.
