Question about balance reporting and accounts with a balance in FICO scoring

I've read here that it is a good idea to keep your utilization under 10%, with best results letting just one account report. If for whatever reason you let all your accounts report a $0 balance it would have a negative impact. Does this rule apply to all your accounts? For example I have an installment loan with my bank and 8 credit cards. Should I just let that loan report and have all my cards report at $0? This will make my total utilazation at under 10% with one loan account reporting, Or am I suppose to let 1 credit card report also?

It applies only to revolving accounts.  Installment accounts dont have a % util, they have a separate % remaining of initial loan.

Let one revolving report a balance that is under 10% of that card's credit limit.
