Something is going on with Equifax. My score dropped 55 points in early April for no reason. My file has stayed the same and I have done nothing differently. It recently went up a hair. My TU and EX are all 55-60+ points higher. I pulled a report and nothing.
EQ Customer Care said some members are affected by a glitch, but it is glitching to when companies pull my credit. It says I have a 715 now when my EX/TU are 769 and 775 respectively. Crazy!
equifax has alway been the most sensitive for me. Every little thing affects it.
Today, I received notification of a score change. I was excited because I felt sure it would be a nice increase since I paid off an old closed account and decreased my utilization from 80% to 30% on my largest CL card. To my surprise, my EQ score actually went DOWN 5 points. My FICO 8 Bankcard Score, as well as EX and TU had increases.
Equifax is also my lowest score...and I too just received an alert as to changes in accounts but no change to my current EQ CS...so who knows...
