Really equifax, really..?

Equifax must be really sensitive. So as usual I allow only one account to show a balance of below 10% each month. Well all mine did this, but by accident I charged $20 to my Barclays card a few days after I paid it off in full. It reported a $20 balance. In turn equifax dropped only its score 3 points saying your account increased by 100%.

I'm not worried about the 3 point decrease, but really? It was like 2% utilization of that card... I thought it was strange tho because when I allow my capital one cards report it says your balance has increased by 1000-1100% with no decrease at all.

They must be really sensitive in general. Any ways lesson learned. They shall see no future balances from me remaining. Just thought this was very odd.

Re: Really equifax, really..?

Something is going on with Equifax. My score dropped 55 points in early April for no reason. My file has stayed the same and I have done nothing differently. It recently went up a hair. My TU and EX are all 55-60+ points higher. I pulled a report and nothing.

EQ Customer Care said some members are affected by a glitch, but it is glitching to when companies pull my credit. It says I have a 715 now when my EX/TU are 769 and 775 respectively. Crazy!

Re: Really equifax, really..?

Today, I received notification of a score change. I was excited because I felt sure it would be a nice increase since I paid off an old closed account and decreased my utilization from 80% to 30% on my largest CL card. To my surprise, my EQ score actually went DOWN 5 points. My FICO 8 Bankcard Score, as well as EX and TU had increases.
