Hello there!
Before I joined AMEX, I had my cousin add me to his Amex Platinum as an AU (on 4/2021). He had just gotten the Amex Platinum card 1 month prior to that. Three month after that I applied and got approved for Amex blue cash card with $1,000 credit limit (7/2021). Then another 4 months later I applied for the Amex Platinum and got approved myself.
As you know, the AMEX platinum is a charge card (no preset reported limit) and not a credit card. If I have him remove me as an AU, will my fico scores hurt and loose points?
Welcome @ChampagneKing Congrats on getting your own AMEX duo. Without knowing ages on the primary holders file. Hard to say. I'll just say since you have your own now. Why have 2? Its only age and not all the revolver metrics that will affect you when your removed.
Thanks for your prompt reply! I totally agree with you on not needing the AU when I have my own.
He added me on 4/2021. He had just gotten the card at that time. He added me when he got approved.
The average age of my accounts 4 years 4 months
Oldest account was open 14 years and 6 months ago.
Also, how do you add those cards to your signature? Pretty neat feature whenever you ask a question, I believe it gives a clear picture of your credit scenario.

It actually doesn't matter. American Express treats the date you got the AU card as the account opening date, so being an AU on an Amex card contributes nothing towards your age of accounts. Yes you should definitely get removed from it.

I believe that when you're new, you can't do it. Later on, you can start with that.
There are multiple ways to add the cards. The way I do it is to put entries like this in my "personal information":

@SouthJamaica @FireMedic1 Thanks ya'll!
I've been a member for 4 years to get the credit reports but just joined the forum side of myFICO. I love this forum! I wish I had joined sooner. My previous knowledge on credit comes from Youtube videos.
