I started my rebuild 11/21 and was AZEO in March and April. How bad of a FICO 8 hit will I take for May having both of my cards report a balance? One will be at just under 8% and the other will be below 10%. How bad of a hit can I expect to take?

I'm guessing a very slight hit.

A few points, depending on your score now and various other factors. But I'd like to give you some general advice: don't sweat it!
Don't worry about your scores to such a minute degree. Credit is meant to be used, so if you use your cards for things you wanted to buy, that's fine. That's what they're for. Sure, each time your usage goes up, your scores will go down--a little (or a lot, if you're at say 90% usage!), but with normal, daily/monthly use just don't sweat little variations. They're just part of using credit, so accept it and stop worrying. I don't! My scores drop by as much as 100 points month-over-month and I don't even blink. I know we're not the same, our lives and circumstances are different, but my point is valid regardless--don't worry about tiny fluctuations, as they're not worth the worry.
Are you about to apply for something where your scores at this exact time will matter? If not, no big deal. You'll see a little drop but just how much will depend on your overall profile. Whether your income can support it is another issue.

Try to get the 10% down to 8%.
