I did my transunion score today on their website and it was 732 so I got excited and went to MYFICO and pulled it as well because most lenders pull fico and it was 632. That is just crazy that there is that big of gap between the two. Does Walmart and Discover use the FICO when applying??
Walmart and Discover use a FICO score, just different models. I think Discover uses a Bankcard Enhanced FICO, not sure which Walmart uses.
ETA: Walmart uses TU08.
Its another model of TU score for FICO.

Is there a online site you can get your TU08 score? Just curious to see how close the 732 score is from TU site is to being real.
Aside from a lender, you can only pull a TU08 from WalMart if you have their CC and a cc-enhanced TU08 from Merrick Bank if you have their CC.
My walmart credit score hasn't been updated since the April 3rd score - which showed up much later in the month of April. However, my lender-pulled TU04 score has always been higher than the transunion score offered by Walmart.

I'm waiting on my Walmart card to arrive so I can check the TU score.
I believe if you set up your account and take paperless billing you get the free TU report every month, I don't have a Wally card,
but have read many post about it, hope this helps
The vaiance in scoring between Transunion and FICO is that Transunion is utilizing the Vantage score which ranges from 500 to 990 whereas FICO is 300 to 850.
