When do the scores start rising after app sprees?

Recently did an app spree and was approved for about 75% of the cards I applied for. Adding 12k in credit to my very low 800$ in credit that I had a month ago.

My scored dropped about 20 points from all the inquiries which is a given.

I'm assuming my scores will go up though because my available credit and utilization will go down?

Thanks

Re: When do the scores start rising after app sprees?

Depends

Each person is different but the general rule is 3-6 months

Also it should be noted that if all the new TL's haven't reported you could see more dings point wise due to AAoA changing

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: When do the scores start rising after app sprees?

This is my second month keeping track. Last month I got my first unsecured credit cards AMEX BCP and Discover IT. My score dropped 20 points!... The next month (a week ago) I accidently let my secured BoA report 10% (usually I PIF before the statement cuts) and guess what...it raised 6 points for HAVING 10% to report.

OY. Right when I think I'm understanding this stuff. Nope. No. Nada.

So confusing...  Lol oh FICO...

I know my utilization will drop to less then 10% total which is good. My Aaoa will be a year because one card reported so far
