When does age matter?

I have a student line of credit that will be 1yr old this month (Happy Birthday Line of Credit! Smiley Wink ) And I am wondering if having this now for 12 months will increase my score at all?

Re: When does age matter?

Nope, not my first at all.
Currently my score is 589 and I need a 600 to get the mortgage my hubby and I need. I am going to be paying $4000 down on a capital one card that has a limit of $4000 and is currently at $4117.89 balance and my student line of credit is maxed at 10K and I am going to be putting 3K on it to bring it to $7000. Hopefully all of these changes this month will  have my score up to at least 600 by May!!

Re: When does age matter?

The UTL is killing your score-
MAXED revolving accounts are a double wammy-

That UTL change will easily give you 10 points-

Pay Capone off 100%
