Will being added as an AU help my FICO 5, 4, 2 score?

I'm considering doing a home refi and need a bit of a score boost. I have some older tradelines I can be added to with high CL and low utilization but wanna know if that will factor into the older FICO 5, 4, 2 scores as I know in some cases AU accounts have no affect on your score. Thoughts?

AU accounts always count in the older Fico "mortgage" algorithms. Whether or not the account will help really depends on the account and how it is managed.

AU accounts do not count toward individual card or aggregate utilization with the newer Fico models. However, the card still adds to your total available credit and can enhance credit history even if it is not part of AAoA.

If they're older than your average accounts, yes it probably will help your mortgage scores.
