So if you have a Walmart Discover card, you can get your FICO score for free. I checked and it said my score was 683. I also have score watch here on myFICO and it says my score is 636?!?!?! **bleep**, how can the same site have 2 different scores for me???
A different scoring model was used for your Walmart score. The score from myfico.com is the most accurate. Check out the threads here about Vantage Scores and Scoring Models.
"Same site" ?????
I don't see anything the same between Walmart and myFICO. What are you thinking is the same?
when you sign up for e statements on Walmarts Discover card, it gives the option to see your score, when you click on it you are taken to myFICO...same site...just different ways of accessing.

This is the first time I've seen this posted. I'm curious if this is the same experience for anyone else.
But I can tell you that the scores are different because here at myFICO you get the older version of Transunion called TU98 whereas the Transunion score you get from Walmart is the newer TU08.
From a BK years ago to:
EX - 3/11 pulled by lender- 835, EQ - 2/11-816, TU - 2/11-782

I'm not sure how you quantify which is more accurate. The score here is the older TU98 and Walmart gives you the newer TU08.

I see.
myFICO Scorewatch is EQ FICO. TU FICO is also offered at myFICO. Is it showing that score?
If they are both EQ, then it would pretty much have to be on different dates. Are you saying that if you have Walmart's Discover that you automatically get a FICO score with each statement?
Thanks for informing me of that MarineVet. I didn't know that until now. Thanks again.
So the one from the walmart link is newer? I thought when you had score watch it was supposed to be the most accurate
It says I can access the score once a month so I assume that would be correct. I just got this card last month.
