worst delinquent question

on my transunion as pulled from myfico, one of my salliemae student loan accounts has the little red flag and it says my worst delinquent was 120 days.but in the 30/60/90 day lates reported it says nothing. so my question is, obviously the late was more than 7 years ago but, why would it mention anything about lates?  will the red flag ever go away?? tia

Are these charge offs or paid?

What was the DOFD?

If these are beyond 7 years from you most recent late DOFD, the derogs should be dropping.

its still open and current. 1 more year left of payments. it doesnt state a dofd, it just notes that on the account.

Worst Delinquency [?]120 days past due The Worst Delinquency reports the worst missed payment status that has been documented on this account. Your FICO® score evaluates how recently that missed payment occurred and in general, the more recent, the more impact it has on your score. However, the fact that it occurred is still predictive of future payment risk and could be considered by your FICO® score.

This doesn't mean it was more than 7 years.  If it is 7 years, then the lates and comments about the lates are removed.  When were you late?

2002 sometime, its on the previous report(ill have to check later) its not on the current one, but like the copy and paste i posted says 120 days was my worst. i just want the red flag gone!

okay, i double checked and there is no dofd....this is what it says:

You may want to pull your EQ report directly from EQ. It will show the full history with your DOFD.
