Re: Can We Get Full Firefox Compatibility, Please?

I appreciate your help and advice in this and the other thread.

This evening, I've been following your advice and playing around with quoting other posts in order to see what the code is that's being used. What has me scratching my head in confusion is that it seems like some of the code that I've been used to using on some other forums is seemingly unusable on this forum. But other code on this forum is stuff that I'm familiar with from the little bit of html code that I learned when I sold a few things on ebay.

Since this forum operates a little differently than what I (and maybe some others) am/are used to, maybe the forum members would find some benefit in a new subforum for testing out how to post ?

I just wish that I could figure how to set columns and so forth. It's tough when you're trying to display text and numbers in a clear manner.

I think I figured out a solution for you .. or at least a temporary solution

test#1:
dog cat ball rug toy
mops parties ferret automobile parents

test#2:
dog cat ball rug toy

mops parties ferret automobile parents

Re: Can We Get Full Firefox Compatibility, Please?

In the previous post, the command that I used is

<pre> text </pre>

Or, as you already explained, if you quote the previous post, that will also let you see what I did. And as far as why test#1 and test#2 look different, it would be faster to explain that through quoting that post and looking at the code

Perhaps a better way of creating columns would be to use these html commands (below). But for some reason those commands don't seem to work on this forum

<table><tr><td> text </td></tr></table>

Re: Can We Get Full Firefox Compatibility, Please?

Thank you! I am definitely going to play with those.

I'm working on a how-to thread for Firefox users, and this will definitely go in it.

Since this is the first (and only) forum I participate in, what little I know has been discovered by bumbling around here and from help from members like you.

And yes, I do pronounce html as "hatemail." Smiley Wink
