(You don't give the AU their own card, they just get to benefit from the good history). CCCs don't like this, and later FICO score systems attempt to discount unrelated AUs.
However, as the card holder you would have to be very careful in communicating with a self-proclaimed broker, who might be a scammer just after card info. There is no need for a real broker (or AU) to know SSN, account number or anything.
Even if the person is running a 'real' business they are not to solicit business within a PM as it is a violation of the TOS of the site.
Right, I wasn't suggesting that it was OK to do that. Just that it doesn't have to be a scam, although it probably is. That said, if you were looking for potential leads, forums like this would be a good place to start, especially with those that put cards and scores in their sigs!
I know you weren't. I meant it more as info to others so that they report the PMs. Your point about signatures is well taken

That's why you didn't get the PM?
Forwarded the PM as well.... and for a little extra money not worth the risk of the tradelines .. and not legal either ...so NO THKS
Reported this person last night.. Their was a few different users from others I spoke with that were shooting out the same PM's.. I beleive the first round of people have been addressed.
Yes a person can make money off of "piggy backing" on good credit, although no thank you for giving out my meh credit to someone to use for a few dollars
At this point all user names used by this individual have been banned permanently from the site for violating our TOS which prohibits such solicitation. If any of you receive further emails from someone on this just forward it to a Mod and we will take care of it. Thanks for being vigilent in this

It seems like a totally legitimate way to earn extra money. Give out your credit card info so someone you have never met, who has no credit and can't get a card on their own, gets signed up as AU on your cards, on the promise they will pay you for the right to use your credit cards.
What could go wrong?
LOL, I must not be worthy, no PM.

Let's hope there isn't someone out there who thought you were serious.
