FICO Alerts are wrong/backwards?

Well my Fico score went from 692 to 724, passing my goal of 705, yet the Fico alert said the exact opposite! In fact it even said: "This decrease in your FICO® score happened on the same day as a change on your Equifax Credit Report™ which triggered an alert." But it increase NOT decreased? Whats going on?Fico Alert Wrong

Re: FICO Alerts are wrong/backwards?

Apparently this has been happening lately.

It looks to me as if your FICO has gone up...not down. I don't know why the mixed messages.

To trick us into buying additional reports? j/k, although thats what I did, just to be certain! Hope they fix this glitch.

That happened to me as well, on the same day.  Not too sure what is going on, but I hope it gets fixed.

They did - just today.  If you have feedback, there's a thread going over on the Smorgasboard.  It will take some getting used to for all of us!

Re: FICO Alerts are wrong/backwards?

I had the exact same thing happen to me twice. I recieved an alert saying that my score had dropped below my targeted score, when, in fact it had exceeded my target.

Re: FICO Alerts are wrong/backwards?

This also happened to me today. As a matter of fact it's been happening for some time now. I hope they correct this glitch soon before they start messing with the numbers. As long as the numbers keep going up I can care less what the message says.
