Few Questions regarding SW

I was due to have some items deleted off of my CR, so I pulled a free one through Experian (I have that service that lets me pull unlimited reports and FAKO scoring) and saw that the items had been removed.  So, I was wondering if they were deleted from TU and Experian, and somehow didn't get an update.

I bought both my TU and EQ FICO's and found that both scores had gone up, but I never got an alert from the EQ.  I had my target score set to what my score exactly was, this way it would trigger if it dropped or went up.  Should I have received an alert?

Secondly, I never received a confirmation email for my purchase of TU and EQ...  I think I should have.

Please advise?

Re: Few Questions regarding SW

ACK!  I just checked my bank account, and was billed twice for my scores yesterday.  It seems that once was with with the coupon code and once without.  Should I just try to call?

Mon-Fri 6am to 6pm Pacific Time
Sat 7am to 4pm Pacific Time

Re: Few Questions regarding SW

I called and they said that there were two attempts at purchasing my scores.  Not really sure why there were, but they said the one with the coupon code would fall off of my pending transactions.

Any input on the credit scores and SW?  I'm just curious.

Was this a typo? Did you mean "Equifax"? If you did mean Experian, know that SW doesn't monitor for changes on Experian or TransUnion, and FICO Quarterly Monitoring doesn't monitor anything but TU. If you meant Equifax, know that based on the SW Guide that deleted baddies, excluding account updates, won't trigger an alert. I wish they would though. Smiley Sad   However, you should receive a score alert if you score changed and your target score was set to equal your current score (see next comment).

SW doesn't monitor TU, but if your EQ FICO was set to equal your target score, then you should have received an alert. I had SW now for about 3 yrs come August and noticed that the score alerts get voided out if I pull immediately after the EQ report changed. Some of us are fanatical about scores (namely me) and when I pulled a new report from a daily-puller CMS and noticed a change that occurred sometime that morning, and if I pulled a new EQ FICO report to see the score change, then I won't receive a SW score alert. I don't know why that happens, but never minded it because I knew the score change anyway. Also SW monitors your score for changes every 7-10 days I believe and when pulling via a CMS daily, I'm more apt to get no score alert because I pull report based on changes that happen that moment, not 7-10 days later.

Yes, you should have received a confirmation e-mail. Check with Customer Service to see what's up. Your SW alerts should have gone to that same e-mail too. Maybe alerts came in and you haven't received them. They can sort it all out.

ETA...I'm a slow typer. Just saw your last post.

Re: Few Questions regarding SW

Yeah, I meant to say EQ instead of Experian in that instance.  I had another item get deleted this morning from Experian and my FAKO jumped almost 60 points, but i'm hesitant to pull my TU and EQ scores again until the billing issue is resolved.

Thanks for the information, maybe that's what happened in regards to not getting the SW.  I had pulled an Experian report in a week and maybe I just happened to snag it on the day it was deleted.

Re: Few Questions regarding SW

I meant to post in here yesterday that after getting a raise in my score, I received an email telling me there were no score alerts this week.  Strange.
