Re: Reporting a Bug or Problem with myFICO Products

Also, if you wanted to check your scores today, as you said, you would have to purchase a new score anyway.  Even if you were still able to view your previous purchase, that score is only a snapshot from the time you purchased it before.  It does not update in real time.

Is the website having problems? Judy

Hi, Judy, and welcome to the FICO Forums!
Your scores are only viewable for a certain amount of time after you have purchased them. If you look at your purchases, you will see that each report has a "View Until" date. Once that date passes, you will no longer be able to view that report and score.
Since you have all question marks and say that you bought your scores in Feb, I would assume they have expired.

Oh. I think I feel a little deceived. I saw "$42.84/year" on the website and assumed that I was paying for a year of access like I've done on other sites. I guess I'll go back to my previous service. Judy

I understand your frustration.  The "$42.84/year" wording is just an indicator that when you buy this product, you are buying one snapshot per year, every year until you cancel, rather than just a one-time snapshot that will not be renewed.

What was your previous service?  More than likely the scores from that service are not FICO scores.  That's why scores from MyFICO cost a bit more than scores from other services.  Scores from MyFICO are actual FICO scores, which are really the only scores that matter.

Re: Reporting a Bug or Problem with myFICO Products

The update of scores certainly used to happen. That's what I thought I paid for when I signed up. I haven't gotten any notice of change in my credit score since last quarter of last year. If this a change, they didn't bother notifying me. That's not what I paid for when I signed up. I feel like I've been deceived. Cheddar, if this is true, why didn't they tell us that they weren't going to notify us every time our scored changed anymore? So now, I have to use a Score Power report to see if there is a change in the score? I'm not very happy about this..

These are two different products.  FICO Credit Complete is the product I was referring to that provides a one-time pull of all three reports and scores, with the option of automatically renewing the purchase once a year.  With this product you get a snapshot of your current scores and reports at the time of purchase with no updates until the next time the product renews one year later (optionally).

The other product is called ScoreWatch.  With SW you get ongoing monitoring of your EQ score (only EQ), and two free EQ reports per year.

To my knowledge neither of these products have recently changed.  Which one of these did you purchase?  If you purchased FICO Credit Complete, it makes sense that you would not receive any updates or notifications that your score changed, because that's not what this product does.

There is no product available to that will monitor all three reports and scores on an ongoing basis.  (Although lots of us have been wishing for one.)

Re: Reporting a Bug or Problem with myFICO Products

I definitely have SW and used to get alerted all the time. It stopped happening sometime in November. Now I get the emails that say "no change was detected" We have been monitoring your score. I know this not to be true because when I used a Score Power Report, there was a reduction in my score they didn't alert me about. I've emailed them, I've talked to them on the phone about it. It's been elevated to Technical Support. That was over a week ago. I still haven't heard a thing. I just want my old SW back!

Do you have your alerts set to the most sensitive settings?

Re: Reporting a Bug or Problem with myFICO Products

Im in the same boat, Im still in the 30 day free trial and only rec'd 1 alert on 3/22 but since then I have had some inq's and new accounts post at the end of March that did not trigger an alert.

Ive read all the threads, I believe I do have mine set at the recommended 'sensitive' settings.

Re: Reporting a Bug or Problem with myFICO Products

When I was I was on the phone with Trenisha she set me up so I should alert me every hour of the day! Any change in a balance by $1, Any FICO Score change, target score of 1 pt above my current score. Oh yeah, we changed every thing to make it very very sensitive. We changed everything we could just to trigger an alert! It's just not alerting me at all. We did this 2 weeks ago. Haven't heard from Technical Support what is going on. It was elevated to that dept. A real bug must be in the system, at least in my account!

Re: Reporting a Bug or Problem with myFICO Products

Well, I see I am not alone here.  I received one report last month and nothing since.  I have everything set to be a sensitive as possible, right down to a 1 point jump in my score.  Still nothing.  So, I went and purchased all 3 reports today and found a 26 point jump in TU and a 9 point jump in EQ.  I pay for both the monthly EQ and quarterly TU.

Whats up with that?
