want are the names on these accounts(ie;chase,captial one,wamu,??)??? where did you get your cr? dofd on my EX CR is above the credit limit/orginial amount on my TU CR example from mine asset acceptance address loan type;factoring co account remarks: placed for collection date placed for collection:12/2007 estimated date that this item will be removed: 04/2010 dofd is when your late and never got caught back up. you can look at the sticky @ top --under freq threads,then click on other freq threads btw.welcome to the forums. :)

lightnin is DH nickname he had polio and now has arthritis. The name is for how fast he walks.LOL (not funny I know,I have it too) I guess the day I signed up on myfico, i was thinking of him. I generally use thunder410,thunder goes with lightnin and 410 for how TALL i am,4ft10in. We have been married for 27yrs this oct. I guess thunder could go for how loud my mouth can be.LOL :)

Like timothy said"every lender different" IMO,call your lender.DH had a auto loan with suntrust due on the 1st grace period till the 15th.Did not know till almost the end of the loan,that if I paid after the 1st they were charging interest,for every day after the 1st till I paid. So at the end of the loan, was all the extra interest. I would call your lender, if i were you.Just to be on the safe side. let us know what you find out.Just might help others who are reading. OH BTW, when i paid at the library, they gave me a plain receipt. Only had my name,amount,person reciving the money and said for collection acct. Did not have the library name on it. I was thinking since i paid the orginal creditor. I will mail the receipt to TU and EX and tell them i paid the library. And ask if they would delete Unique collections. I didn't DV Unique collection.(I know should have done that 1st) Trying to figure out what to do. unique will report to TU and EX. be very careful talking with the library. 5 years ago. MY daughter 18yrs old between hs and college took out 4books with my card.I returned them a few months later,after hours.I thought i paid them but cant find the receipt,was very sick then, i have lupus and fibromylgia--sometime i have brainfog. May 08 found unique on TU and EX.Called the library ask pif for delete,they said "Yes i will clear it with unique."Went and paid $40 fine plus $20 for collections fee.After i paid, i said "You will delete this,right." she replied "No it will be marked paid".(Should have had this in writing.) Try to make this shorter. Mailed a letter to the director of the library. She replied she talked with their representive for collections-they talked with unique. (Kind of like the hen talking with the fox) Also said the three CRAs are in the progress of making a deal with unique. That is after you pif,collection will be deleted from CR after 1yr. I talked with unique and TU and EX last wk---they said they never heard of that.:( MY CR said to drop in feb 2010 now EX said may 2011. Let us know, how this works out for you.Maybe since you are doing this right away, your outcome will be different. GOOD LUCK! :)

ON DH EQ cr it says disability under employment. Can they do this? I guess they can,cause they did. I mean is this hurting or helping his score? Can this be removed? BTW,he is disabled draws SSDI check and works PT. He's had over 50+ ortho surgeries over the last 40yrs. Trying to work because staying @home gets very,very depressing. Working also helps a little paying the bills. Thanks to those who reply

I just paid for a $12.00 medical bill collection.Asked the CA to delete they said "no problem" :) btw it was 5years old. Had to pay the bigger dogs(i mean bills)off first,their bite is worst.

IMO writing is the best way dealing with these people.Because I sent a pfd letter to Unique(CA for my friendly county library )saying i would pay in full the $60.00 only for fines the four book return years ago.They sent me a letter that said NO to the delete but would change it paid in full. I then called MY FRIENDLY COUNTY LIBRARY,the person i spoke with said"yes i will clear it with the CA.GREAT!!! Then i go pay my $60.00 and asked again"You will delete this right?" She said again Yes i will clear this with the CA.I said "You mean delete?"She replied "NO, it will be as paid in full till it falls off my cr.I dont have the right to delete it"I replied "yes you do,you are the OC.Do you know what the FCRA is?" She replied"WHATS THAT?" you said you have a GREAT job then 100k should be NO problem. have checked your hr dept because most places of employment only allow 3 garnishments, then you are out of a job. employers also look at your credit report to see what kind of person you are. do you what to ruin your chance at a really great job or dream job? the choice is yours.I cant understand how you can sleep at night?
