For me the recommendations are the complete opposite of what is listed. CK stated I had poor odds of getting a Discover IT card and a QuickSilver card which I already have. It also said I have a fair chance at getting a Chase Freedom but I was declined.
Yes, old thread. And I wouldn't put any merit to any CC that they recommend.
They recommended I get a capital one secure card but I was approved for discover Citibank Chaseand American Express

I stand behind my aforementioned statement. LOL!
I base NOTHING on CK. They have never been correct in updating my records, for example today CK updated yet my total CL is about $3k less than what it really is, and my AAoA has never been correct (shows 9 mos instead of 2 years, 10 mos).

CK, unlike FICO, does not include closed accounts in the factoring of your AAoA. So if you've been paying regulary on a 30 year mortgage, once you've paid that off, you get nothing for having that account.
CK basically sucks now.
Now it's pushing me to app for Barclays...no thanks. lollll
To be honest I don't get the hate for CK or the general derision of "FAKO" scores when so many creditors use their own personal risk scoring system and/or some comibination of the multiple FICO scoring models in existence.
CK is totally upfront about the fact that the service is free to consumers because of the targeted ads. But whatever, to each their own I guess.
