Re: The MyFICO Forums 12 Step Program (For FICOholics)

Man, I am fighting the urge to pull another credit report. Haven't pulled a new report or gotten a SW alert for about 4 days and the withdrawal is killing me.

My reports have been in a constant state of change for the last 3 weeks. Now that I'm down to the last couple baddies the change has slowed and I don't need to pull reports as often. So I've promised myself I won't pull another report til the end of the month, by then there should be something to see. I have TC, but there is nothing like seeing the actual FICO score go up.

Re: The MyFICO Forums 12 Step Program (For FICOholics)

I have National City Identity Protect (TC) and I use TC to check when my CC balance is reported so I know when to pull my scores here.  TC used to show the date the account was last updated but it doesnt anymore.

Re: The MyFICO Forums 12 Step Program (For FICOholics)

Just curious, If I submit my app for FICOholics will there be a hard or soft pull of my CR's? Is there a minimum or maximum fico score required to be a member?

if not.....

Hello, I'm BungalowMo, and I'm a FICOholic.  I joined here May 1st, 08, but had been watching and repairing my credit for nearly 4 years.  Sure wish I'd know about this forum & PFD's back then :smileysad:

Re: The MyFICO Forums 12 Step Program (For FICOholics)

So how the heck do I get my util down if I can't stop buying fico scores. I'm down to one per week, but man, it's hard!

The instant gratification of seeing a score bump feeds right into my OCD! I'm down to three accounts that have any movement. I could twice a month and see pretty much the same result, but I'm a Fico junky!

Re: The MyFICO Forums 12 Step Program (For FICOholics)

I'm in exactly the same place! I started this journey on 7/2 and bought several scores, wasting a few last month. So far this month, I've only bought each bureau once and am anxiously waiting for things to update to buy another.
