When is a collection no longer considered recent with Transunion?

I have one collection from 2 and a half years ago and it is still counted as a recent collection.

From all I have read, the impact of a CA on your CR does not age.  It is either there, or not.

It expires 7 1/2 years from the DOFD on the OC account, but does not age over time. 

I could be wrong, but have never seen anything to the contrary.

Mine is going to drop this Sept...it still shows as recent!  If you can't get it dropped...give it a pillow, cuz it aint leaving any time soon!
