Chase Maserati Preapproval $100K

Well this is a first for me.  In my Credit Journey, Chase gave me a $100K preapproval on a new Maserati.  Smiley Surprised  Wow, I'm flattered.  I'm not seriously considering it, but just wanted to let the community know that these high-limit preapprovals exist for Chase.  I think I've seen some preapprovals for a $50K loan, maybe even $75K but I'm sure I've never seen $100K preapproval.     Meanwhile, I'm quite content with my older, but still classic Audi sedan I got a few years ago as a splurge.  It's got relatively low miles, loaded, and in great condition.  Smiley Happy

For data points, I'm a 24-year Chase credit and/or banking customer, ... but not Chase Private Client.  I have FICOs in 825-850 range and 40 year credit history.   Existing Chase credit card lines in excess of $155K.

Good stuff on the auto $100K preapproval. However too bad  the preapproval is not for the brand of your choosing, just Maserati (Nice looking cars, but the build quailty and depreciation are less then ideal).  I would stick the classic Audi as well, (I used to own a B6 S4 with 4.2L V8, I miss that car).

Rebuilding since 2021

I've had this pre-approval before and this was before my reports were clean. I was a former chase auto customer. You'll probably start getting them for range rover, Jaguar, and general auto loans soon, as well.

Thanks @citymunky.  Interesting you should mention it but I was curious and clicked on the general auto preapproval link while logged in since Chase had generated some interest.  I got a preapproval on any auto loan for $100K. Smiley Happy

Yes, I'm surprised how much I still enjoy my Audi, even after it's gotten older.  Few complaints and it's been a great car.  It sounds like you know what I mean with your S4 since mine is an S6 with twin-turbo 4.0L V-8.  Bang and Olufsen sound system, best car stereo I've ever heard.  Prestige trim with just about every option.  Luxury and performance in one package.  Smiley Very Happy   They don't put the V8 in them anymore which is just one more reason I want to hang onto it.

Good to know, @Brian_Earl_Spilner.    I had just never seen such a high preapproval, but of course car prices have gone up a lot in the past ten years.  I also got it without having a prior Chase auto loan.   Yes, especially since I clicked on the above link regarding auto loans, they will probably send me a lot more!  Lol  Smiley LOL

The Audi S6 v8 twin turbo is a wonderful car. 2018 was the last year of manufacture. Test drove one new and really liked it. However, I was offered a great deal for a 2018 supercharged A6 prestige with 4000 miles which I couldn't pass up.

The downside with Audi is the rather steep depreciation if you purchase new. Lightly used CPOs are the way to go.

That's exactly what I did, @Thomas_ThumbSmiley Happy so I guess "great minds think alike."  My car had a few more miles than your's but it was still very low miles, still had over two years of manufacturer warranty, and was in 'like-new' condition.  And the original owner had loaded it to the gills with just about everything you could put on it before trading it in for a new Mercedes Benz.  So I got a beautiful car at about a 30% discount off new MSRP.  Smiley LOL

Re: Chase Maserati Preapproval $100K

Sweet deal.

In my case it was 21% off msrp. However, the car had 3.5 years left on the original warranty and I negotiated an additional 2 year, 50,000 mile cpo warranty at n/c. Mint condition.

It was the dealership managers car and he was ready for a different Audi. Must be nice driving a new Audi every year.

Re: Chase Maserati Preapproval $100K

Congrats

Shows they like your scores and profile.

Never had a 100k offer.

Local CU keeps giving me 80k preapproval, "close but no cigar".
