3 days ago, I got approved for the Hilton Honors Surpass so I’d thought I’d take my chance last night and applied for a Blue Cash. Got the dreaded 14 day review message and email. Good thing is, there seems to be no HP. Will update.
You might have applied too soon. While some people are able to get 2 revolvers pretty close to each other, I remember there being a rule of 8 or 9 days between revolver apps.
You can check the application status online.

ETA: Welcome @Anonymous to the forums!
Update: Denied. Reason is account is too new. Oh, and there wasn’t a HP at the time of application but now there is. Bummed.
Sorry to hear. Unfortunately, people like to say any additional apps after the first will be SP. Some people are able to get SP apps soon after their first card, but it usually takes them a couple of months to get to that point, and even then, there's always a chance of a HP. I received a HP on a second app a month after my first approval. My first approval turned out to be a doublepull that the bureaus didn't alert me to so I didn't find out for months. They pulled EX and TU.
