Good Afternoon all,
first off Happy Thanksgiving or Happy Holidays to everyone. The AMEX BCE is the last application I completed before going to the garden. The spree included Citi Secured (denied), USAA AMEX Secured (approved), BoA 3-2-1 Cash Rewards (denied, countered with partially secured version and accepted), Discover It Chrome (denied), Barclay Rewards MC (denied, reconned and approved), Gold Delta Skymiles (approved), and AMEX PRG and Plat (approved). I am hoping that the application will be approved. Experian stats at time of app are as follows: Fico8 657, 19% Utilization, 1 Paid collections, 10 Inquiries, 4 new accounts within the last year and a half, and AAoA 4.4 Years. As you can see, the BCE app was within 5 days of a previous approval of a AMEX revolving account. However, I am use to the 7 - 10 day notice. Not a 24 Hour message. I am hoping that this means a possible approval but I understand that it can go either way. Any insight would be appreciated and thanks for taking the time to check out my post!
In Progress with AMEX is better than a denial. It could be a hold due to the amount of apps in the same month. Could be they'll call you to verify. Sounds like you're definitely taking a trip to REHAB regardless of the outcome with the slew of denials due to too many apps.

Indeed it was better. Called and verified some information in order to move the application forward and was approved with a $1,000 SL. I'm 4/4 with American Express and it is off to the garden for me. ![]()

This is not meant to get you out of the garden, but what's 4/4? Is that the max number of card AMEX will give per cardholder. I'm sure that's changed. I have 6 AMEX in 6 months. 😐.
Anyway, that's just an FYI. Go back and water those plants. 😁
Total number of AMEX applications I followd through with: 4. Total number o AMEX approvals: 4. I was tempted to get the AMEX ED as well, but I believe they do not allow more than two revolving accounts within 90 days. Might be wrong with that. Either way, those plants will definitely be watered for now. ![]()
