I will be another DP soon, 7/6 will mark 61 days for me. Maybe having a "rare" card and a $6K SL might help get that 3X, although i would gladly take 2X or wait until the 91 mark to try again.

Note that if you're eligible to request a CLI and are denied for credit-related reasons, you will have to wait a FULL 91 days from denial before you can ask again.

Congrats on your CLI ! Dont get discourged about not getting approved for the 3k CLI. I recently applied back in March 2022 and got approved for 1k also. I tried at the 61 days and it said to come back at a later time because account was to recently opened. On June 14 2022 at 91 days I had to come here and find the missing link button and requested  3X CLI I got approved 3k and just last night I clicked on on another link I was surprised that it took me to the request page filled out my info and requested 7k just to be safe and I dont want to be greedy that I might be declined. To my surprise they counterd with 6k. I will wait and see when I reach my 181 days to see if I can get another CLI. LOL

I just contacted AMEX CS via chat and per my conversation I brought up the missing button link for CLI  and what rep told me is that the link appears over 60 days from your last CLI request. I had my first increase on June 22, 2022 and a second CLI 4 days later June 26, 2022 how is that possible to have multiple increases in such a short time. I was even surprised that I got approved for the second CLI.

July 16 is my 181st day since I opened my Amex so I'll wait to ask for a CLI.  The online option isn't available.

Even at 181+ days when you're eligible to ask, the link may not show up. It's been very inconsistent for a while now.

Even at 181+ days when you're eligible to ask, the link may not show up. It's been very inconsistent for a while now. 

I took a chance and used messenger.  Got a bump to 30k nearly instantly after answering income question.  Maybe I shoulda asked for more lol.

Hey all,

So I've noticed for a while that my credit limit increase button for American Express has disappeared and has been gone for at least a year.  I want to know has it just disappeared for me? or has it disappeared for everyone?
