Re: AMEX CLI Denied (Within 60 days)

If you guys log on to your Amex account, click the search bar and type in credit limit FAQ it says in writing that a CLI will NOT be granted within 60 days of account opening. I would not advise anybody to risk it as I did. Learned my lesson.

Doesn't hurt one bit if you try too early and they're requiring a 61 day wait

In my case 60 days instead of 61 days was their reason

I understand that but if they're requiring a 61 day wait as they did before (still not positive that is the case) then if you're denied on day 60, you then try again on day 61.  Trying too early never resets the clock.

Re: AMEX CLI Denied (Within 60 days)

AMEX CS is terrible. Each rep says something different. One said you have to.wait 90 days after denial. The other says go ahead try again. It seems like MyFico members have more knowledge than their own CS

That's very common with Amex CSRs, many are clueless.  Just go ahead and try again.  No harm can come from trying again.
