I guess they would have denied me if they checked TU, as I've been hammered hard there!
@markbeiser wrote:@FinStarYes, I used the link. I never downloaded their app, but the option to request a CLI has not appeared on the web site for me yet.
It could be because I only just hit 3 months and 1 day since I activated my card, and it simply had not appeared yet.
I think it's profile dependent. I got my Amex in September and the CLI button was there from day one. I requested a CLI after 3 months and was immediately approved. I thought the CLI button would disappear, but nope...it's still there.

What's the current limit on the card? Is that the only AmEx card you have?
Amex credit limit is $1,000. No other Amex cards sadly.
My "recent" revolving credit experience is fairly young. (Less than 12 months)
my biggest hope for CLI besides Amex is my secured discover card.

Thanks for the additional background @Empires. The reason I asked is because if you had multiple AmEx revolving CCs, CL reallocations are possible with some exceptions.
That said, just hang tight + build some history with AmEx and let things age until the next 91 days and you can re-request again. The advantage, of course, is the SP.
I usually ask for cli request link through chat. Then follow link and request. I've gotten every request for my bcp card. Started at 7k now up to around 34k. I've had it for a little over a year now.
Is the 91 day period still in effect from a CLI denial, or is it possible at 61 days ?

Normally 61 days for possible 1st CLI on new card, 91 days for a denial, 181 days after a sucessful prior CLI

Correct, although I as well as a few others have actually been able to request another CLI at ~91 days after the last successful CLI. YMMV.
