It looks like you have the score. Unless you have too many inquiries or you have new accounts, it looks pretty good for your chances.
Green card is more for like people in mid 600's
Thanks and yeah inq's and new accounts is the big reason why. Freedom - June, Discover - July, CSP - August or september? Slate - November. Which i think they mostly all pulled EQ. I cant remember if Chase pulled EX at all. However AAOA is still like 1.7 years (it takes a lot to drop it seems, thanks to student loans)
EDIT - It looks like only 3 recent inqs on EX in the past 6 mos., however my total util is like 40ish
UTL is gonna be the hit or miss here.
Inquiries. Pfft. I had 8 on EX at the beginning of my AOR this year in August.
Yeah i kinda figured util would be a issue. Well my BF will be home in about 2 hours, imma hope for the best if he does allow me to apply.
Congrats on the new rank btw.
I think my UTL was about 11% when I applied for the PRG, and ED back to back. Same EX pull got both.
New rank?
Yes. You are now a valued contributor!
Oh didnt even notice
how do those go up? Just more posts?
Also i do have a question regarding the application. I noticed it theres 2 options for employed. 1 is above a list of like various job fields, and there is 1 below student. Does it matter which i select?
Well. Are you employed?
I am employed but which one do i select? Because i am also a student. So would it make more sense to select the employed below the student one or the one with all of the fields like Cleric, agrictural, other....etc.
I would just pick employed, Leave out student.
I edited my post, so i should select the employed that is displayed above the job fields, and not the one below the student field? Only the Amex has to be so confusing
i dont have any other issues with any other lender. Just this one XD
Do they really need to know EVERYTHING?
If it isn't pertinent, then leave it out.

Well i did apply and it was Declined, my guess is because of my Util or new accounts. I will try again in like March or April.
Really? I would love to know the reasons when the letter comes.. Would of never of guessed.
@Skye12329 wrote:I dont suppose i can PC this charge if i no longer need it correct?
You can PC it but not to the ED cards or any other credit card.
@Skye12329 wrote:Also one last question, are the points movable like Chase points? Where i can move my points from Freedom to CSP. So in other words can i move the charge card points to the ED card? Or is it just 1 pool of points?
MR is not like UR in that you have only one MR account for all your MR cards.

Its recon time.
Not with AmEx unless something on the reports was inaccurate.

When i try checking online for the reason because it will or is supposed to tell me under app status it says "My application cannot be processed, try again later"
However when i call, they my EX score is too low, thats what the automated system says anyways. When they open up, im going to try and talk to a representative.
They said too many new accounts, and Util is too high. Thats what the representative said. As for recon, im debating on it. I know Amex can be tough on recon, but i would prefer not to get a lower limit. I would like at least 2k, so maybe it might be best to wait till like between march - june to apply again.

Nah decided to go for the ED card as for sure thought it would be a shoe in with a 700+ ex fico... This still doesn't really make sense to me other then the utilization factor or possibly to many new tradelines? Amex doesn't care about inquiries though.
