Any chance either of you could provide info: credit scores, current cards, and so on so we can better understand when this is offered to prospective customers wanting an AMEX.
As of 4/23
Experian - 700 (Used the Experian Boost to raise it from 681)
Transunion - 701
Equifax - 690
FICO BankCard Score 2 - 686
FICO BankCard Score 8 - 706
Current Cards:
Capital One Platnium: 2450
Synchrony Care Credit: 7000
Credit Utilization: 22%
Income: 102,000
Debt-to-income Ratio: 20%
Currently have a mortgage, student loans, and 1 car payment.
Average Age 7 yrs 5 mos
Oldest Account 14 yrs 1 mo
No inquiries in over a year, 2 that hit the 24 month mark in June and October.
However, I do have some marks. 3 Medical collections, one falls off next. A couple of late payments (30,60) on a First Primer from many years ago. I just new that would disqualify me, or at least only with a SL of a couple of hundred bucks. Even with a 700 I felt like my credit history was crap based on collections and older late payments.
Applied for the Discover IT that same day after encouragement from the board. $12,500 straight off the bat. Got the card today but I'm still in shock.
Also, no screenshots of the "upto 2K spending limit" from Amex last night. I usually screencap everything.
I'm currently rebuilding,
Fico8
Equifax: 680
TransUnion: 685
Experian: 672
Income: $104,000
Card Utilization: 30%
Total Balance on credit cards: $1,725 of $5,840
Student Loans: $25k
Car Loan: $2.2k
I close on my FHA Loan on May 10. I paid off my $2,500 collection account on March ~15th or so.
On 4/17 my scores were
Fico8
Equifax: 647
Transunion: 644
Experian: 672
Will I have trouble qualifying for Amex Gold? I'll be able to use a lot of the benefits with my work and I think it'd be a great fit.
