Can i app for the BCE and BCP at the same time . I just call amex and they said that the BCP woll be cancel automatic because the approve of the BCE

You can, but they will put the 2nd app on hold for 5 days. AMEX only allows you to apply for 1 revolver every 5 days.

Yes, they will let you apply for 1 charge card and 1 credit card (revolver) at the same time. If it was within 24 hours you probably can get away with the same HP.

Approve for gold card i know 160 anual fee but i trave 2 times a year with my wife and the kid one in the state and 1 to the Caribbean so i guess that will pay for the anual fee

Why did you choose the standard gold vs the PRG?

No $100 air credit to offset the AF

On Amex site it doesn't show a bonus did you get one?

3X instead of 2X points on PRG

Just curious that's all

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

True, what's done is done.

The good news, though, is that you can still apply for the PRG later on and you should still get the new account bonus since it's a different product from the regular Gold card. Just remember to not PC to the PRG, and do a cold-app when the time comes!

FWIW, I made a similar mistake last year when I applied and was approved for the Green card. I canceled it back in March, and got the PRG last month. Note that you can have both at the same time; I closed the Green when I did to avoid its annual fee.

As far as applying for Amex, what score would get me approved? I so want an Amex card.
