For a general card, not a lot to offer. Currently only reports to TU.
Thanks, that's alot of info I needed. But what about access to the account for making payments from your bank accounts, etc.? Is that only available in your Apple Pay wallet, or is their access through a website with any device & browser? I'm definitely NOT an Apple disciple, I've never owned any Apple product nor have any interest in owning any. But I do have an employer issued iPhone that I always have on me. The pre-approval offer with CL & APR with a SP appeals to me, and TU is my highest score & lowest inquiries - 2, and 1 falls off in March. But frankly I'd just use the CL to pad utilization and make enough small purchases with the physical card to keep it active. But should something ever change with my employer issued iPhone I'd want another way to access the account other than through an Apple device.
You only have access through wallet on an iPhone or iPad. No website to login to. They made sure it's strictly Apple device and eco-centric.

Thanks for that. My reaction to that was "What? No access on a Mac or MacBook? But a quick google search finds you can even add wallet to older Macs if they have Safari, and even easier to enable it on a MacBook. Or well, only a marginal interest for me, guess I'll wait for Google to come up with an Android/Google card.

But will it ever evolve enough to accept me as a client?
I am down to "You have made too many recent applications for credit - these have resulted in hard inquiries on your credit file" from "We don't know who you are. We think yoiu've had a bank account closed. Send us your driver's license and first born."

Access on the Mac is strictly for making purchases, like any other card added to Apple Pay. The interface for making payments and redeeming credits requires an iphone.
In my sleep deprived state, I decided to see if I would be approved since the great app spree of Sept/Oct 2019. I've been on my best behavior since. 😇
Not too shabby, but not enough to get me to accept a HP. I declined. I feel so responsible. 😁
DP: credit score notice said TU9 is 719
Congrats on your approval, but I don't think you're missing out on anything with that card.
Your thread title threw me off... Approval and then denied? I thought they denied you.
Maybe "declined" is a more correct term... they gave an offer and you declined it.
Anyway, congrats on the card you could have gotten if you wanted.

I have that card and unless you're buying from Apple it's pretty useless. The physical card itself is pretty cool but I can't even tell you the last time I pulled it out of my wallet and looked at it.
Congrats on the approval and good on you for not accepting if you didn't need it.
Be careful rejecting approvsls....it might ser a precedent here at myFico
