I just applied for Barclays Apple Visa because I see from the forum it is the easiest card to get approved for. I was denied within seconds with no hard pull (thankfully). They were IIB but the account was charged off about a year before I filed. So I called the backdoor number and the rep asked me if it's okay if he look over my application but it will be an hard pull. I said yes (still haven't gotten a hard pull) he come back after a hold and says they will like to see more credit history after my bankruptcy. I had my Credit 1 account open for 10 months now. As well as 4 other cards haven't missed a payment since my bankruptcy and I have 18% utilization now (next week it will be at 4% after my report updates). He also said I had too many inquiries...I have 13 in the past 12 months on TU (needed a car after bk so I had no choice).
Should I try again next week after my report updates or this a lost cause? I'm hoping for at least a 10 point increase next month since my bankruptcy will be 1 year old.

Yes, I know you're right I just wanted to get rid of the Credit 1 card before the 1 year period. Looks like I may be stuck with it a little longer. Thanks for replying
Will do. Guess I have no choice. I just didn't want to pay all this extra fees with Credit 1 & 1st Premier. I will wait it out.
Many will bounce back from BK but it can really take time hang in there.
