I got denied with BB and the sole reason was inquiries/new accounts according to the lady. Also they told me there was no way around that at all.

I applied this am and got this message. In the past, it would just usually say 7 to 10 days in the mail, decline. I havent applied for this in at least 6 months. This is very similar to my past teases with Discover card where they tell me to call new accounts team and then just say sorry we cant approve you.

I think this is a good sign OP......The fact that it says " we need to ask you a few q's means a verification which usually turns into approval.....
