BoA CR .... "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" *******

This original post has been updated here;

https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Card-Applications/BoA-CR-quot-You-ve-Lost-That-Loving-Feelin...

The "Righteous Brothers" Put it so well  ..

Bank of America pulled the CLI LHeartVE button ..

Now I have tears in my beerSmiley Sad

Seriously, The Luv button has been there since 2016

Just since Covid-19 it has completely dis-appeared?

I am 100% sure it has been there the whole time!

I have not abused it, in fact have not asked in a whileSmiley Surprised

I have had absolutely no AA/CLD of any kind.

Been mostly laying off the Application's compared to last year ..

My scores are just as solid as they have always been.

Utilization is about 1% ... No Lates. (checked all CB files 3x)

Income and Job are solid as a rock!

So I query you fine myFICO'ers that hold Bank of America cards,

Has anyone lost that "Lovin Feelin"?  (The credit limit increase link on the website)

Oh. I am far from salty .. got over that when they denied me a second card on;

BK OF AMER
Bank Credit Cards
Inquiry date: Aug 8, 2019
Removal date: Aug 8, 2021

Just curious if this has to do with BoA tightening the purse strings?

Ready ....

Re: BoA CR .... "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" *******

I think a few people were discussing this in a different thread. I remember asking if others had also lost the luv button, and a few responded they could still see it. Not sure if things have changed since.

I figured mine were gone from my cards because I'd already reached maximum exposure with BofA. After adding my CLs, I did notice I had more than the usual ceiling.

My BBR card that I have had for over 6 years has the luv button while my Alaska card which I got 4 months ago unsurprisingly does not have the luv button.

Re: BoA CR .... "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" *******

I have the button for both my CR and PR. I don't think I've ever NOT seen it. I only clicked it once on my PR a year or so ago ($17k ---> $37.5k) and I have never clicked on it with my CR that I opened in 2014 (auto CLI from $5k ---> $6k).

Re: BoA CR .... "Baby Come Back" ................

Edited: For title change, "I was wrong" "Baby Come Back"

Ok,  based on your replies, it is not BoA tightening purse strings (although they could be)

It is profile specific. So I had taken out a Penfed PL on 3-26-2020

https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Personal-Finance/PenFed-Personal-loan-25-000-Approved-6-49-APR/m-p/...

Penfed reported that installment loan at 100% on 3-31-2020

On 4-1-2020 (April fool's daySmiley Tongue)

Bank Of America updated my TU FICO8 Score.

As a result my score dropped -17 points

(so now I know ...what a maxed Installment loan will drop my FICO8 score)

The Penfed loan has been paid down to less than 8.9%,

and pulling my TU FICO8 shows that I gained the 17 FICO's back!

So at least I resolved "The LHeartVE button mystery" .. I got April fooledsmiley-laughing021.gif

So now ... I am pretty sure why they pulled the LHeartVE button.

Bank of America has not updated since April 1st.

Was getting CLI denials for new accounts (credit seeking). Had a dry spell for 8 months. Approved for CLI x 2 cards at end of March.
