Hi Community,
What are my chances to get BofA Cash Rewards card with my current stats?
Thinking to apply today...did anybody here got it with a thin profile like mine and no relationship with BofA?
i was approved with a thin file for this card, less than 2 weeks ago. SL $2,600. they pulled me at a 726 (ex), and i had a credit one reporting with a credit limit of $800, 0 balance. no other credit cards. although i do have a relationship with them, i'm not sure if that was a big deciding factor. hope this helps!

yes, this is exactly what I am reading on this forum that it is easier to get approved if you bank with them, but if you dont then it is not really easy. But I am curious what are my chances and if what SL can I get if I am approved ?

@MrPepperoni I was approved for a Cash Rewards card when I didn't have a banking relationship with them and I had lower FICO scores than you have. So its not accurate to say that its "not really easy" to get approved. Its the Premium Rewards card that is difficult to get approved.
There's only one sure way to find out and that's to apply for the card you want.
I think you're a go for $2K SL even without an existing relationship.
If they decline, go to a branch talk to their branch manager, open a checking/savings and ask him/her to recon the outcome for you. Good luck!
