BofA application

I am new to these forms,  I recently submitted a application over the weekend -  I called the backdoor number on here today & spoke w/ a rep. regarding my application they said it was still "pending approval"  -  so hasn't been approved or denied as of yet.    So just wanting to know if this is a good sign or if its a way of saying "denied" 

It shows : 

Your application is in review. Thanks for choosing Bank of America. We're carefully reviewing your application and need to check a few more things. We appreciate your patience.

Also they mentioned due to monday being a holiday these maybe a little behind so thoughts?

Its better than a denial.  You have a chance.

Could go either way.  2 or 3 of my cards were the 7-10 day message or pending review and I still got them.

Id just call them once a day to check the status of your application.

Welcome to the MyFico Forums! What BOA product did you apply for? I didnt get an instant for my Travel Rewards card but I believe it took them 24-48hrs to approve the app. Got a nice 2.5k limit that I got bumped up to 5.4k about 5months later. You can also check your application online I believe that a not instant decision is better than an instant decline!

BOA has been generous to me and their customer service has always been great the few times I needed to talk with someone! Keep us posted and best of luck!

Hey all,  thanks for the great feedback everyone is provided  I currently app'd  for the  BankAmericard  -  I liked the 0% they was offering plus get my foot in the door at BofA.

Now I app'd I think on Sunday  &  monday was a holiday -  so today was the only working day so I am gonna say its been just 24/hrs since they start checking I guess,  so I hope it works like to get in with bank of america.

Yeah I checked online  just shows "Your Application is in Review"  but today when I called they was saying something about pending approval & said the reason for the hold up was due to properly due to monday being a hoilday.

What would be a good backdoor # that is recent that most have had good luck calling?  so I can call tomorrow regarding the status?
