I'm thinking about applying for the Citibank Simplicity card just for the 0% for 18 months I've been offered by them just to do a balance transfer on 2 cards I plan on closing because the interest rates are too high and the rewards aren't all that good. What do you guys think about this card? What limits are usually given and what credit score is needed for approval of this card? My scores are in the high 600s to low 700s and I have 3 recent inquiries.

Personally i think this card is literally just a plain CC. It doesnt have any rewards, just the benefit of no late fees if you miss your payment on time.
As for CL's i checked Credit Karma to see what some of the limits were given by credit score based on their results. Obviously its not 100% reliable but it looked as if 3-5k was average limits given.
We do not have enough information for us to fully acknowledge though. Also limits given is always going to be based on the computers decision and you could always call for a credit line increase. Some other information that could help us is:
Payment History?
Any Baddies?
Average Age of Accounts?
Current Limits?
Perfect payment history, no baddies, AAoA is 4 years and I have 8 cards with a total of $29600 in CLs between all cards. I do have a good annual salary.
I think you would be better off applying for another card that you might see useful in the future. My reason for this is because most cards offer a 0% intro & bt transfers for a certain amount of months usually between 12-18 months. If you decide to apply for the Simplicity, you will be stuck with the card unless you cancel since they don't allow you to pc. I can't comment on whether you will be approved or not, but i think you would be better off applying (if your credit score is good enough) for maybe a citi double cash (15 month 0% bt) or a discover it (14 month 0% bt) or chase freedom (15 month 0% bt).
Wouldn't Double Cash be a better alternative?
I was just approved CL 2k Citi Simplicity. EQ(678)pulled (3inq) was an instant approval.
