Good points my friend. I have a Freedom that I can use for cash back. Venture One would give me a travel card.

Truthfully the QS is probably a better card but I am worried on a lower limit.

you won't know until you app. cap1 will grow so don't worry about the limit honestly.

I received 10K on Venture, 5K on V1 and 3K on QS.......After doing the Pre-Qual.

Only 1 pull each for V & QS(double dipped)......and V1 a month later.

$300 is for QS (MC)...........Regular QS(Visa) starts at 3K.

I  believe it was somewhere around 650 all across (fico).......But my internal score with Cap1 was much higher and I think that helped me a lot for an approval.

I believe with your score, you'll get a good limit on Venture & QS visa.

BTW my APR's are 17.9% on V.....16.9 on V1.....17.9 on QS. Typical.

And after seeing my 10K limit reporting, my score jumped as well. all in all I'm happy for now

My scores were all around 600 with the EQ showing 630, went to pre qual site and showed the platnium, QS and the Venture.  Thought I wouldn't get greedy so apped for the QS and approved for 3k then 30 seconds later apped for Venture (Not V1) and approved for 10k, they did triple pull and double on TU.  BK7 disc 12/14 and burned Cap1 for $800

I was approved for QS with the same terms shown on my pre qual page.
