Capital One CLI

What are the odds of me getting a SP Capital One Quicksilver CLI. I have a secured platinum with them too, always PIF. Recently paid quicksilver off. Both have 0 bal.

Re: Capital One CLI

CapOne likes to see usage on their cards so if you've used your card a lot you can expect a CLI from them. Also, considering they're a SP for it anyways there's no harm in asking and it should it not be to your liking you can decline it and try again hoping for a bigger amount at a later date.

Do you know what bureau Cap One pulls for their CLI?

They rely more on their internal scoring system because they like for you to show usage on their cards, big payments and so on before giving any sizable limits. But I'm assuming they use SPs on all 3 of your reports just the same as they HP all 3 for any card you apply for. Their "criteria" is on their website if you want to take a quick look.

Re: Capital One CLI

Not off hand. But if your denied, you’ll get a 2 or 3 day message with an email confirmation where you can look at the reasons.

What is the credit limit on the Quicksilver and how long have you had it?

Re: Capital One CLI

I was wondering how long you have had it too. And if you have had a increase yet either requested by you or automatic? I may be wrong but I think it has to be 6 months? In between cli’s? When I got my qs1 I got my steps at 6 months and could not get another increase till it was over a yearold

what is stated above is true. So OP how long have you had the card or when was your last requested CLI? Auto CLIs don't count. But you have to have had the account open for at least 6 months and CLI are only able to get every 6 months. So you have to go based off of that data. As for the bureau I think its TU but cant say for sure. But that's whose score they show you on their credit wise app. If your not sure then check all 3 CB reports and see when and where they did last SP on you .
