Chase CLI question-updated

I recently got an auto CLI on my IHG select card. The card was just about a year old and went from $2k to $5k. I also have a no AF Sapphire that has been at $5,000 since I opened it and a freedom at $6k. I was thinking about taking a HP once a few inq drop from EX in the next few months. My EX FICO 8 score is 742 with 10 inq and a 24% UTI. I’ve had a banking relationship with Chase for over 10 years now. What are my chances I get approved

Update- EX FICO jumped to 753, uti fell to 20% and 1 inq fell off. I’m going to wait another two weeks when my new BofA limit reports.
AMEX PRG; AMEX EveryDay $14,800; Freedom $6k; Sapphire $7k; IHG Select $5k; Discover $2,400; BofA Better Balance $9,100; Bank Americard $5,900; Citi DC $2,700; Citi Diamond $2,500; BestBuy $20,000; Amazon Prime $5k, United Club $15,000; Home Depot $20,000; Barclays $7,500

Total Credit Limits: $122,650

Re: Chase CLI question-updated

I am under the impression that Chase may  factor use and payment history more than scores.

I have had two substantial CLI's from on cards that are less than 1.5 years old.

CSP went from $8k to $14.5K - I requested a CLI and there was a HP

CSR went from $25K - $34k - This was an auto CLI with no pull. I did not initiate it.

My scores were High 600's on on EQ & EXP (which they pull) at the time. My util was 50% total on all cards when the CSP CLI happened (30% on the CSP and 80% on the CSR). I had 3 new cc accounts in 24 mos, 1 new car loan and 1 personal loan.

However, my income was $150k+ and I had spent over $80k in the previous year. I routinely made payments of $5k+ and paid $20k+ in the previous 2 months.

The CSR CLI happened right after I paid off the $20k balance. That made more sense.

It still seems like you should qualify for a CLI, but I have heard other stories where people were denied with similar profiles. Whats your spend like?

Re: Chase CLI question-updated

I got a CLI of $2,000 on my sapphire but they approved me for The United Club card 5 minuets later with a SL of $15,000 and apr of 17.74%. Not sure why only a CLi of $2,000
