Chase Freedom verification. update

My dad applied yesterday for the Chase Freedom. which came back with a pending review message.

We called the backdoor number and spoke to an analyst. put us on hold for a few minutes, and procedded to transfer us to the verification department.

The lady in the verification departmant, asked him if he applied for that credit card. she later procedded to put on hold for around 3 minutes.

When the lady came back she said she would have to send a pin to a phone number to keep helping us. which that failed, because her system didnt let her.

then she started asking 2 questions from the public records. Lastly, she said he nedded to fax in a copy of a driver licence.

So far it looks good, but ill keep updating if anything happens. i think my dad has a good change of getting the card, since they are asking for so much. where they could outright denied him.

they are asking a lot of verification. Since he has no open account in the past 7 years. and his new cap 1 with cl of 3k has not reported.

btw whats with the labels before posting ..ugh

Update 1: just called chase they said they received the documents and should receive a decision or card within a week. (fingers crossed)

Yeah i think it should be approval as everyone here says. Same thing for my DW yesterday. Apped in the morning. Called them in the evening, they asked social/DL to be faxed. Sent today those two docs. Need to call again this evening.

For my DW, they said they have to wait for the Fax department to update the document status. Only then, they will review the application again.. 5-7 biz days..

same here.

I experienced the same thing at the end of Feb.  After approx. 9 days the DL verification went through I was approved via the back door number after calling in with a CL higher than any of my other cards.
