I occasionally check the Chase prequalify page to see if anything is on offer. Nothing ever appears there. However, looking today in my Chase account under the "Just for you offers based on your relationship with Chase" everything under from the Freedom to the CSP and quite a few cobranded cards are showing with a "You're Prequalified". Clicking on the terms does show a firm APR offer for each, but I'm just curious why they appear there and nothing on the regular prequal page. Is this just marketing or is it similar to the green checkmarks I've read about?

Hi and welcome
Those are directly from Credit Journey, so it means you've met basic criteria used for pre-qualification
If you're under 5/24 and your oldest account is over a year old, it should work (hopefully)
There are no guaranteed approvals, so you might as well give it a try
Another option is to go to the branch and ask banker if they see any pre-approved offers for you.
For existing Chase customers, often there are pre-approvals, even when none are present in your account
Good luck if you decide to apply!
I thought we found that all the just for you and journey preapprovals were solid work arounds to the 5/24. Has it changed again?

In Branch > Selected for you/Just for you > Credit Journey

I believe 5/24 is still in full effect no matter what. In branch used to be the go around but I haven't heard of that working in awhile.
Nah it's still working.

Well, I’m still under 5/24 and the nearest Chase branch is in another state nearly 3 hours away anyways. (I only have the Amazon Prime card with them, no banking.) Not sure how good of a datapoint I’d be if I was approved. I just keep reading conflicting things on these. May just end up apping through one and eat the HP if it meant nothing anyways.
Hi and welcome
Chase loves to HP and more than likely it will be 2.
