Citi Diamond Preferred cli question

I don't recall the exact wording but I was looking at the verbage on the request credit limit increase page. On the page where it asks for income & mortgage payment amount it said something like 'based on your responses, you could get an instant cli without a credit report pull' . Note, those are not quotation marks because I don't remember exact wording, but it's the gist of it. I don't want to ask for cli if not a soft pull. If I hit submit, will they ask for permission if not instant? I appreciate the guidance.

Re: Citi Diamond Preferred cli question

This is exactly what you should see for a soft pull.  Anything else and there's a chance for a hard inquiry.

Re: Citi Diamond Preferred cli question

This is what I had to submit for my Citi DP CLI request back in January 2017 and received my CLI online within seconds.  CLI was SP.

Hope this helps!
