Does anyone know if requesting a CLI is a HP or SP?

It tells you when you request the CLI.
Credit report WILL be obtained: HP
Credit report WILL NOT be obtained: SP

on the TY card?
it certainly has never told me, it's just a blind click that leads to an instant submission of the request, there's no confirmation or anything. the SYW card did the same thing.
if you click the 'credit line increase' button, it just submits a request for you automatically, it's always been a SP for me though

On my Double Cash, it shows the specific HP/SP language. Since the Thank You card isn't co-branded like the SYW card, I assume the same HP/SP language would be there.
If there’s no notice about a hard pull, it’s soft. It might be different if you call to request one though.
Mine was a soft pull while still being a SYW card just before changing over. Requested a CLI six months after having the card. Approved and went from 4500 to 8000.
I got one without a hard pull (link), but since the ThankYou Mastercard is with Citi Retail Services, I believe it will be hit or miss.
