NFCU requires POI for credit cards above $25,000; that requirement exists even if you haven't encountered it yet.
I agree with the sentiments that you expressed in this thread but that actually isn’t always the case about requiring POI for limits above $25k. NFCU raised my Platinum card limit from $25k to $35k and did not request POI. Normally they will but I suspect that they did not in my case because I have been a member for 35+ years
