Denied for Cap One Venture X - Incorrect reason

As others have stated scoring wise it may only count as one but with lenders they will see them listed and of course they have to give you some kind of reason for the denial . Cap one does not recon at all so you will never get anywhere calling them .

I can happily say I don't have them in my wallet , never been a fan and have seen many with your stats get denied, does it make sense not even close but they are a very strange lender .

It's such a self defeating policy set.

Like, here's this card, we want to compete with Amex and Chase, we see , through our credit pull that you play on that level and would be a good acquisition. But nope, you actually are responsible so we don't want you. 

We want someone who rolls balances so it offsets the benefits plus a bunch of interest.

Well in my case it cost them my wife's account who actually is paying them interest.
