What's the best approach to get in with Discover Secured?
I read stories about applying for the Student Card and then getting pushed into a Secured.. What about applying for the regular card and then calling Re-Con and asking to be considered for the secured product?
Also, what are the scores they look for? I just recently got approved for a Cap One Secured Card.
I got flat denied for the IT Card.
I was just curious if I should even attempt to apply for the Student (cause I'm definately not one). I have read that some people were required to provide proof of being a student.

I applied for the student version and was countered with the secured card in July. My scores were as follows: FICO 8 TU-633, EQ-624, and EX-609. However, I am a graduate student but they did not ask for any documentation and still have not.
