Discover app highest APR?

IAny one have experience with limits discover hands out with the highest apr showing on pre approval? I already have a discover it but now pre approved for a 2nd but with 22.99 apr just don't want another 1k approval

I literally - 2 days ago had this exact situation.  I had 3 preapproval's w/ the highest apr showing. My 1st card - Discover IT started w/ a $500 limit back in 11/2019. It's since grown to $2500. My EXP score has grown about 30 points since then (Currently 659). I applied for the Miles card - terrified of another toy limit and was instantly approved for $5000.  

So - it can be done. I do put alot of charges through the 1st card and pay at least 50% every month.

@Anonymous keep in mind that every profile is unique and one person's results don't necessarily translate to another's. Add in that Disco is flaky and random and all bets are off. My first Disco was approved at $2800, and my second was $1250. Your approval may mirror mine, it may mirror that of @Anonymous , it may blow both of ours out of the water, it may be $500, or it may be anywhere in between. With Disco it truly is in the hands of Lady Luck...except she's been drinking and is off her meds.

Lmao it really is in the hands of drunk Lady Luck but I guess another question does it even matter which card you choose? Like is there any data points that point to higher limits on the IT, Miles, or Balance transfer IT?

Nope, it won't really matter which one you choose as far as the SL.  Discover "Lady Luck" will grant the appropriate SL based on your overall profile.  The question is, do you feel lucky? 😜 roll the dice and see...

FWIW, Discover provides the option to lower the standard APR after ~12 months, and every year afterwards, as long as the account is eligible.
